Fort Collins Real Estate Consumers Have a New Friend

Real-a-Save is proud to announce that we are now offering both our Buyers Program and our Sellers Programs to Fort Collins real estate consumers.

For residents of Fort Collins who may be unfamiliar with Real-a-Save's programs, here's a quick overview:

Fort Collins Buyers Program

Our Fort Collins Buyers Program rebates 50% of our commission directly to our clients. Our typical clients are "self directed buyers". This is really not such an unusual thing, and most internet-savvy consumers will already qualify as such. A self directed buyer is simply someone who is using the Internet to search for their next home, and is possibly doing some drive-bys to take a look at the property from the street, and maybe even attending an open house to see the inside of the home. We ask that all of our clients do at least the first two: use the Internet, and drive by the property, in order to edit their list of favorite homes down to a handful. Once our buyers get their list of favorite homes in the Fort Collins real estate market down to about 3 or 4, then we will set the showings and take you to see the homes on your list in a 2 hour block of time. We'll then guide you through every aspect of the transaction, just like a traditional agent, but then at closing we will rebate 50% of our commission to you. You saved us all that time while you were driving yourself around to view the homes during the search phase, so we'll reward you by offering this rebate.

Fort Collins Sellers Program

Our Sellers Program offers to list homes in the Fort Collins area for only 1% of sales price. Any home, one percent. Fort Collins real estate will never be the same because we feel it shouldn't cost you more to sell your home just because your home has a higher list price. Our program includes all the services you'd expect from a traditional real estate company (but we're far from traditional!) including:

  • Getting your home on the MLS.
  • Internet marketing including Zillow, Trulia, and craigslist.
  • Virtual Tour that includes 5 video shots and 6 professional still shots on every listing at no extra charge.
  • 100 Professional Glossy Fliers. We have the pros make these using the photos from the Virtual Tour and we mail them directly to you.
  • Professional Yard sign, lock box, flier box.
  • Professional Showing Service. They will schedule showings for you, and screen all callers to make sure the agents have a current license before handing out the lock box combo.
  • All the paperwork. We'll take care of contracts, negotiations, help arrange inspections, attend closing with you. We're experts at contracts because we write more than the typical agent.
  • CMA: we'll help you look at the current sold homes and listed homes to determine the right price for your home.

What about open houses?

We feel you're the best person to hold an open house. And it's very easy to do! Also, your motivation when holding an open house is simply to sell your house, not to pick up some new buyers. We'll advertise it for you, teach you how to do it, and provide signs.
