Charming, turn-of-the-century homes sit atop a hill, all on large lots with climb-worthy trees; this is Englewood.

Cozy Charm

While the homes here typically run on the small side, you'll only feel cozy (and appreciative of the value you can get for your money)-and, you can always add-on by building into your huge backyard, a given in Englewood. Pale hues and vinyl siding create a calm, easy-going feel, while quiet streets and neighborhood- watch give a sense of security.

Residential and businesses spaces are intertwined throughout the city, making a summer walk to neighborhood restaurants and bars quite enjoyable. The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub is a local favorite, as is Table Steaks Pool Hall and the Gothic Theater (bringing some of the nations best musicians to Englewood); combine the three and you have the makings for a night to remember. Also don't miss an old-school summers' evening at Cinderella Twin Drive In, metro-Denver's only remaining drive in theater.

For most retail shopping you'll need to head into Denver, Littleton or Centennial (all merely minutes away by car). However, people from those cities flock to Englewood for its selection of antique stores. Head over to South Broadway Road for the best in antique collectibles variety, and don't forget a stop in one of the several vintage clothing stores on the street (Celebrity Clothing will leave you reminiscing of the-way-it-used-to-be).

Take a drive a few minutes South of Denver and you'll find Englewood waiting - it's a fun place to spend the day, and a great place to call home.
