Littleton
With varied housing options, suburban-security, and a first-rate school district, the small, south metro-Denver town of Littleton is what many are seeking in Colorado living.

You Can Have It All
Relative to other Denver-metro suburbs, Littleton is a fairly new city, which is evident in the many new housing developments and gated communities dotting the city. Not to fear if you desire older, quainter homes; some (once rural) areas of Littleton are home to charming ranch abodes, boasting white picket fences, inviting front porches and all. New construction and modern design found in Littleton is slightly more affordable than in older metro neighborhoods, but you'll never feel you're compromising-the big mountain views (you can see all the way south to Pikes Peak, and west to Boulder on a good day), parks and trails (Herman Lake Park and Chatfield Open Space are amazing, tranquil spaces) and community feel make sure of this.
Regardless of where your day takes you, Littleton's close proximity to Downtown Denver, the Denver Tech Center, C470 and I70 (for those mountain jaunts) make it an extremely commuter-friendly city. However, because of the extensive shopping and entertainment choices within Littleton, driving far isn't a requirement. Expect to find all the usual big-box stores at your fingertips, along with several fascinating boutiques and cozy family restaurants in Littleton's historic downtown area.
The Littleton school district motto says it best 'Big enough to serve you, small enough to know you,' and that is truly what you'll feel in this suburban community.
