Superior
Mention the town of Superior to any current Colorado resident and they might not actually know where you're talking about-superior is that small (four-square-miles small to be exact). However, as the saying goes, good things do indeed come in small packages. With 594 acres of open space and parks, 27 miles of trails and 4,500 beautiful homes, this petite enclave has a lot to offer.

Wonderful Rock Creek
Rock Creek, Superior's main residential area, sits atop a hill overlooking the eastern plains and Boulders' magnificent Flatiron Mountains. Sprawling, gorgeous displays of architecture and design define the homes of Rock Creek. Colorado styles of stonework, slate and woodwork integrate seamlessly with the modern-day flairs of expansive windows, three-car-garages and barbecue-ready decks. Well equipped playgrounds and lakes seem to appear on virtually every block, picnic benches under cascading trees call for leisurely lunches and neighborhood schools allow for thoughtful, morning-walk conversation with children.
Although at this point Superior is mainly a residential town, plans are underway for future commercial and retail development. For now, you'll need to drive a mile or so down the road into Louisville or Boulder for most shopping, dining and entertainment.
