Westminster
To the ordinary passerby, Westminster may not look like much more than subdivisions and shopping (both of which are fabulous here, by the way). However, take a closer look at the city and you'll discover so much more. Vast expanses of open spaces separate most subdivisions, home choices are plentiful, entertainment and activity abounds, and the city's proximity to Denver, Boulder and the Rocky Mountains make it the perfect place to live and play.

Fun and Style
Expect to find mostly newer homes in Westminster (the largest housing growth has occurred in the last 10 years) ranging from starter-home to million-dollar-golf-course-mansion, and everything in between. Of special note is the community of Legacy Ridge, a tucked-away gem situated next to one of the Metro areas' few public golf courses. Mature landscaping, gorgeous, well equipped homes, privacy and easy access to Westminster's ample open space make Legacy Ridge a sought after area in the city.
Enjoying the outdoors is a large part of life in Colorado; Westminster has this covered with 2,500 acres of open space strategically placed throughout the city. A user-friendly, 12-mile-long jogging trail winds through Westminster, crossing under most streets for easy access from any location. Standley Lake Regional Park boasts lakes for boating and fishing, an extensive trail and park system and even a campground.
There is a reason why most people assume Westminster is just a shopping Mecca; because the shopping here really is that good. You can find anything you desire in Westminster, whether at Westminster Mall (with standards such as Dillard's, Macys and Sears) or in one of several shopping locals housing every big-box retailer in existence. Next door to Westminster Mall is Westminster Promenade, an outdoor, pedestrian village comprised of a three-rink ice arena, Butterfly Pavilion, 24-screen movie theater, bowling alley and several first-rate, family friendly restaurants.
Whatever you're looking for, Westminster will deliver it with fun and style - and you're only minutes away from everything else Colorado has to offer.
