Cheesman
Cheesman Park, an 80-acre green-scape smack-dab in the middle of Denver, is truly the 'calm in the storm'. Here, you're within walking distance from everything Denver's urban sector has to offer - spectacular restaurants, nightlife and shopping. But, if you need some peace and quiet, you can retreat to the tranquil oasis of lush grass and trees that define the Cheesman neighborhood.

Nature Surrounded by the City
Surrounding this amazing park are gorgeous, spacious and fully renovated colonial houses. Solid brick, Victorian style mixes easily with expanses of glass, modern woods and subdued, calming color schemes. Trees arc picturesquely over the streets, and, with minimal traffic flow, you'll relish in the private feeling of this neighborhood.
On the opposite side of Cheesman Park from this quiet Victorian area are a handful of stunning high-rise buildings. The modern 1, 2 and 3 bedroom living spaces of these buildings offer expansive views of Cheesman Park, the Denver-city skyline, and the Rocky Mountains, some 30 miles west.
Regardless of the abode you choose, the Cheesman area truly feels like a 'neighborhood'. While wandering out of the immediate area (and into Capitol Hill and LoDo) for food and drinks is a breeze, there are several tucked-away hot spots Cheesman claims as its' own. Liks Ice Cream Parlor (with over 280 -yes 280- flavors) is such a favorite that a 15 minute line all summer is standard. Dazbog Coffee is an absolute must for social Saturday mornings and lazy Sunday afternoons alike. The Irish Snug and Cricket on the Hill keep the live, local music scene alive well into the morning.
For winter cross-country skiing and sledding, summer running, biking and sunshine, and fabulous city nightlife and restaurants a stones' throw away, Cheesman Park is it.
